The goal of a Cristo Rey education is not to just finish high school, but to graduate college, and live out our values to impact the greater community. While the rigor and intensity of achieving this goal is far from easy, our students repeatedly persist and rise with pride.

Athletics

There are many lessons to be learned by being a part of a team, by putting your best up against another, and training hard to improve your skill set.  Cristo Rey Philadelphia Blue Pride is about teamwork and tenacity, family and fierceness, community and confidence.

Student Life

The value of a Cristo Rey education goes beyond test-taking, office hours, and lectures and focuses on the whole person - the "cura personalis". We have built, and will continue to build, a space in which students can explore their diverse interests and passions, and foster their identities through a variety of clubs, activities, and assemblies.

Catholic School for Students of All Faiths

Cristo Rey Philadelphia prides itself on its unique identity as “a Catholic school for students of all faiths.” With a diverse student body, made up of many faith backgrounds and religious identities, our tradition thrives as a kaleidoscope of distinctive, yet celebrated, differences.

Pathways Through College

Since our first graduating class, 100% of Cristo Rey Philadelphia seniors have been accepted to a four year college or university.  While our seniors often receive countless letters telling them “yes, you are accepted,” ultimately it is the one “yes” our students say that lays the pathway to their future.

The Work-Study Program

The cornerstone of a Cristo Rey education is the Work-Study Program. While at their interships, students receive invaluable experiences, developing professional and communication skills and exploring different careers. But most importantly, students realize that with hard work and perserverence, they can reach their full potential.
