How to Apply

We're glad you are planning to apply to Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School! Before you apply, please be sure to check our eligibility requirements here.

We accept students on a rolling basis until our class is full. Admissions is competitive. Therefore, the sooner you apply, the better!

Please note: all incoming 9th and 10th graders that are accepted into the 2019-2020 school year will attend school at our new location at 17th & Allegheny Ave. Information about our new school can be found at theschoolthatworks.org.

Step 1 - Online Application

You will need your most recent tax information, as well as information on other forms of income, from all contributing adults in your household, so please have that information on hand before you begin the online application.

APPLY ONLINE HERE

On the online application, you will sign up for an admissions test, which we hold on select Saturdays throughout the year. While you wait for your admissions test date, move on to Step 2!

Please note: Yes, you are still able to take the admissions test even if you have not submitted all of your documents.

Prepare for the admissions test: We recommend using www.redwoodprep.com to help prepare for the admissions test. Click on the "HSPT" tab and then "Free Assessment Exam." You can also click here to access the free assessment directly. This is not the exact test your student will take. It will help the student prepare for the types of questions they will see on the test.
