The Pathways Program provides an integrated network of coordinated encouragement, assistance and support for limited-income students to help them grow, learn, select and ultimately graduate high school and go on to college, realizing their full potential.
In addition to academic and tuition support, the Pathways Program provides structured opportunities for Cristo Rey students to interact with -- and learn from -- local college students in a positive educational environment. Our students regularly visit University Partner campuses, and in turn our University Partners host “prepare for college” programs such as SAT and ACT prep during the academic year and the summer. Cristo Rey students are also invited to participate in service programs alongside University students. And perhaps most importantly, University Partners provide Work-Study positions for our students.
In the Cristo Rey model, it is common for Pathways students to enroll in college with University Partner schools, upon high school graduation.
